My son’s dog’s, Mack and Dusky

Mack is wearing the rip collar and Dusky is the yellow dog.
My oldest son Sloan works with me at Fonterra driving the milk tankers on the same shift so he gets the same days off. Up until recently he has not been to keen on the hunting. All that had changed recently when he got himself his first pig dog pup Mack. Mack is now five months old and up until recently was not showing to much interest in the pigs. The first couple of times Mack came into the block we did not have any other dogs in their bailing as I wanted him to be confident around the pigs first and not think that every time he sees a pig he has to try and attack it. The first couple of times that we added another dog to bail a pig Mack did not want anything to do with them. So it is good to see that he is just staring to show an interest now.

My other Son Bryce works in a local forestry in a logging crew and he to has recently got him self a new pup as well.  His pup’s name is Dusky and she is breed out of my dog Lightning. Right from the first time she went into the training block she was barking at the pigs.
