Mathew recently traveled all the way down form the Waikato with his four dogs for some extra training on my big boars. Because he was traveling so far he booked in for 48 hours so that we could give the dogs a lot of work. He had two older dogs one five and the other six who are already good pig dogs and his two younger dogs one bitch and one dog that were about two years old.
The bitch worked OK but the young dog was a very hard dog that took a lot of work before he wore himself down before he started to bail. Both Mathew and I enjoyed watching his dog get a lot of work over the two days and the big payback for me was a message from Mathew with a photo of a 156 pound boar that him and his dogs caught to take out the WOSC Surf’n’turf tournament.
