Luke travelled down from Nelson with his dog Chopper and bitch Ash. Chopper was named after the movie of Chopper Reed. When Luke first got Chopper another dog bit part of his ears off, hence the name Copper.
Chopper had an over riding issue that had to be sorted out before we could get him to show an interest in the pigs and that was that all that he wanted to do was mount Patch. So while Patch was trying to show an interest in the pigs Chopper would be trying to ride her. I had to correct him four times with the electric collar before he worked out to leave Patch alone. Chopper was a different dog the next morning as he got into the bailing game well.
