Bro grabbing the tail of a dead 101 pound boar

Bro is almost 6 months old
This hunt started early with all 4 of my dogs. I was heading to a track that I like to walk up that has been very productive in the past. I had walked a reasonable distance up the hill before the dogs started tracking off. Even though Tig had been out looking the whole time it was Rastus that found and balled this boar. Tig was next to arrive, then Fog and Bro. The four dogs did not bail long before this boar broke. I was hoping he would cross the track so that I could get a shot at him but he must have read my mind and ran around above the track. Somehow Tig, Fog and Bro tracked up through the native in the next gully around while Rastus headed straight through the next couple of gullies and bailed up 1.2 km away. Bro only went out 350 meters before returning to me. There was no way that I could follow the way that the dogs had gone so I headed back to the bike. I was not far from the bike when Fog caught up and I took another look at the GPS and noticed that Rastus came back off the bail but he only backtracked 50 meters when he ran into Tig so both dogs went back and carried on bailing. When I turned the the bike off in the gully the dogs were in Fog heard the bail and took off with Bro close behind heading towards the bail 350 meters away. Bro went 100 down into the creek before coming back up to me as it was pretty step down there. It took Fog almost ten minutes to get across to the other two who had already been bailing for a good twenty minutes. When Fog arrived I did hear a wee scrape then bail. I was hoping the the dogs would bring this pig down to the creek as it was in a shit of place. With all of the commotion going on over there Bro put in a really top effort to get across there which took him him probably fifteen minutes. This whole time I was waiting back expecting this pig to break down into the creek. With this pig not wanting to move again I had to make my way across to them. So another twenty minutes later I was sneaking in trying to work everything out as it was tight bush. I had seen Bro and Rastus and I could hear where Fog was bailing from but all I could hear from Tig was some very heavy breathing. I did get some footage of the bail before the boar spotted me and was about to turn his attention onto me. As soon as he took a step towards me I lifted up the gun and shot him in the head.

As soon as I bleed him I checked the dogs out , luckily for them this boar did not have a good jaw on him but I was a bit worried about Tig as he had almost cooked himself. I gave Tig a wee bit of time to settle down before I started dragging this boar down towards the creek. There was no way that I was going to be able to get him on my back to carry him as the matagouri and scrub was to thick. The first spot that I got to that had a little bit of water in it I stopped for a while to let the dogs have a drink. It was only the last fifty meters that I could get the pig on my back to carry him to the bike.
I was rapt with Bro’s effort on this pig as it was not an easy pig and he stayed with it untill the end and did not worry when the gunshot went off.
