About to start full time dog training again for the next few months.
Thank you to all those hunters that have been patiently waiting for available dates.
While I have been busy the last three months helping my son out I have still managed to fit in a couple of clients with the dog training.
One of the big things that I have changed in the training block is Pumba the main boar. I had to get the vet to cut his tusks off as he was becoming very dangerous for unsuspecting dogs.

Gus, Gin, Bruce and Buzz
Recent clients from Nelson Taylor Mant and Louie Adlam came in with three dogs 9 years old Buzz that had never bailed a pig before but could find and hold. Then Bruce a 5 years old and Gin at 3.5 years old
On our 1st run we only had Bruce, Gin and Gus. I decided to leave Buzz out on the 1st run because he was a hard dog and to get the other 2 dogs to bail would have been easier without too much pressure. Pumba did give Bruce a good shake at the start, lucky for Bruce Pumba did not have his tusks. Once Bruce settled down the three dogs bailed OK.
When we put Buzz into the block he tried his best to hold Pumba for a very short time and was lucky not to get hurt. We had Gus and Gin in as well and once the initial fight was sorted the dogs bailed well.
By the time Taylor and Louie had the last run in the block with their three dogs and Gus the dogs bailed so we’ll with understanding not to put too much pressure on the bail to calm the boar down.
Bookings for the next 2 months taking now.
